On September 5, 2004, I've got an e-mail from Mr. Bruce Gaitsch who kindly offered his assistance in delivering the petition and our gifts to Peter Cetera himself in person. The photo of the presentation was attached to the e-mail as proof.

Good Morning!....Saw Bruce Gaitsch yesterday and he gave me a wonderful surprise package....It was from Takamichi "Taka" Hijiya, web -master of my fan site in Japan...It was filled with lovely presents(a beautiful fan-ornate chopsticks-various CD's) including..TADA!!!....My first solo album. I now have one!...I want to say hello to all my friends in Nippon and thanks for the wonderful surprises...Thanks to you Taka for doing the( bring Peter Cetera to Japan poll)...I'll do my best.and yes I WOULD LOVE IT!!!!....Once again Taka,it was great seeing you in Chicago and hopefully one day I'll see you in Japan....Domo Arigato! to everyone! .....pC
 
Anyway, I would really like to express my deepest gratitude, especially to Mr. Bruce Gaitsch, for his kind help. Without his help, I would not be able to achieve this mission. I would also like to thank Mr. Peter Cetera for reading the petition and giving us a reply! Thanks a million!
